Note: Although we have very mild winters in southern Spain, a lot of
our activities are high up in the mountains, and the temperature drops
rapidly when the sun goes. With 30 days of rain a year, we still have
perfect blue skies most of the year. The temperature can rise to 20°C
even in the heart of winter.

Insurance
Bring
your E111 form stamped from your local post office. You should also
get yourself normal holiday insurance (make sure it covers the activities
you are participating in).

Airport and luggage
If
you are bringing over your own ski equipment or mountain bikes, check
with your airline first for over-size baggage. Most airlines offer a
free service.

Money
Spain
uses Euros. For around €6 to €10 (£4 to £7) you can have a full dinner
with a bottle of house wine.
